I'm Daniel Arthur, author of The Borrowed Destiny

It’s nice to meet you. I’m Daniel Arthur, author of The Borrowed Destiny and let me welcome you to my world.

I am a writer. I have been since graduating with my English degree from Canterbury Christ Church University many moons ago. Since then, I’ve worked in PR, marketing and events.

Now that I've written my first novel, The Borrowed Destiny, I can now proudly call myself a novelist... even if I'm not quite used to it yet.

Writing fiction has always been my passion, ever since I was a young boy writing, illustrating and illustrating my own books in my nan’s living room. Flash-forward a couple of decades and I’m almost ready to share my debut book, The Borrowed Destiny. I can assure you that I'm still as driven as I was and that the content has slightly improved.

​

I live in Kent with my partner. I wish that I could say I enjoy exercise and keeping fit, but I don’t. In my spare time, I read anything fictional, especially from the fantasy genre. I owe my inspiration to the works of Philip Pullman, Madeline Miller, Neil Gaiman and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, without whom I’d never have been fascinated by superstition, magic and mythology.
